A cappella group wins recording awards
The Stanford Harmonics have won Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards in three award categories for their latest album, Escape Velocity.
The Harmonics won best album in the mixed collegiate division. In addition, Harmonics director Charlie Forkish, '11, nabbed best song and best arrangement awards for "The Sound of Silence" in the mixed collegiate division. His “Imagination” was the runner-up for best arrangement in this division, as well.
