Letter to the editor: Hoping students get free iPhones, given useful mobile applications

I was excited to read about the very useful applications that are being developed for students to use on their iPhones (Stanford Report, Sept. 24). These will aid them enormously in daily life at Stanford, in the dorms, in the classrooms. Consequently, I hope that every Stanford undergraduate will be provided a free iPhone so that every student could benefit regardless of ability to afford an iPhone.
