Global concerns of today and tomorrow were the focus of "Anxious Times: Seeing Beyond a World of Perpetual Threats." The panel, moderated by Ted Koppel, featured John Hennessy, Anthony M. Kennedy, George P. Shultz, William Perry, Jerry Yang, Jean-Pierre Garnier and Lucy Shapiro. The wide ranging discussion covered North Korea's nuclear ambitions, what to do in case of a flu pandemic, the Constitution, the threat to civil liberties and the role of the Internet.
