Robert Fisher, MD,PhD, has been promoted to professor of neurology and neurological sciences, as of Nov. 1. He is interested in clinical, laboratory and translational aspects of epilepsy research. Fisher is director of neurology instruction, as well as the epilepsy center at Stanford.
Gregory Enns, MD, has been promoted to associate professor of pediatrics (medical genetics) at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, as of Nov. 1. His research interests focus on novel means of diagnosing and treating mitochondrial disorders, with an emphasis on antioxidant therapy; lysosomal disorders, and newborn screening by tandem mass spectrometry.
Michael Gould, MD, has been promoted to associate professor of medicine (pulmonary and critical care medicine) at the VA-Palo Alto Heath Care System, as of Nov. 1. His research involves technology assessment, cost-effectiveness analysis, meta-analysis, prognostic modeling and assessment of health-related quality of life. Gould is co-director of the research training program and the fellowship program in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
