Jeffrey Fisher joins faculty as co-director of Supreme Court clinic
Jeffrey Fisher, a lawyer who has argued several major criminal-procedure cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, will become co-director of the Law School's Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. In 2004, Lawyers Weekly USA named Fisher a "Lawyer of the Year." The National Law Journal in 2006 named him one of the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America." Fisher has worked on more than two dozen cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, with a particular focus on constitutional issues in the areas of criminal procedure and the First Amendment.
