Registration open for Continuing Studies' fall courses

Registration is under way for dozens of evening classes, weekend workshops and special events offered by Continuing Studies during the autumn quarter, including more than 60 liberal arts and sciences courses and 30 courses in professional and personal development.

A sampling of subjects includes foreign languages (including introductory Persian), writing, geography, residential real estate, acting, film noir and nanotechnology. A weekend retreat exploring the teachings of Thomas Aquinas will be taught by religious scholar Matthew Fox.

Employees who work half time or more can use Staff Training Assistance Program (STAP) funds to pay tuition and registration fees. Register or get more information and full course listings online at http://continuingstudies.stanford.edu. Information also is available by calling 725-2650.
