Meet Stanley. No driver, but lots of software. He is the entry of the Stanford DARPA Racing Team hoping to go the distance of 175 miles, totally automated, with a push of one button. Mojave Desert tests this month have raised hopes for competing in October for a $2 million prize. Partners with Stanford include Volkswagen and Mohr, Davidow Ventures.
