Stanford scholar named MacArthur Fellow

Stanford's Jennifer Eberhardt was named one of the 2014 Fellows of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation in September. A social psychologist, Eberhardt studies the racial elements in the perceptions of crime. The fellowships, which are sometimes referred to as "genius awards," rank among the most prestigious prizes in academia and the creative arts.
