Full program of Ash Wednesday services to be offered on campus

The Catholic Community at Stanford will mark the beginning of the Lenten season today, Ash Wednesday, with Masses at 8 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Memorial Church. An ecumenical service will be held at noon in Memorial Church. Ashes will be distributed at all services.

The ecumenical service is a general Christian assembly open to all. Ashes will be available to everyone. "It's basically a scripture service," said the Rev. Patrick LaBelle, the pastor of the Catholic Community at Stanford. LaBelle and the Rev. John Paul Forté will be the celebrants. SR
