Cal Tech economist to give two lectures on markets

Students of markets may wish to attend this year's 10th annual Arrow Lectures by Charles Plott, professor of political science and economics at the California Institute of Technology.

Plott will speak at 8 p.m. Monday, April 17, on "Equilibrium and Stability in Experimental Markets." The lecture will be held in Room 140 of the Landau Economics Building.

He will speak in the same room at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, on "Combinatorial Auctions and Smart Market Processes."

The annual Arrow Lectures honor Stanford Professor Emeritus Kenneth Arrow, a Nobel laureate. Plott is the Edward S. Harness Professor at Caltech. For more information on the events, contact Nicole Reed at 723-3713. SR
