25 students win Lyons Award for Service to Stanford

The James W. Lyons Awards for Service were presented to 25 students on May 14. The awards are given to those who have demonstrated outstanding service to the greater Stanford community.

The recipients are Angela Amarillas, a senior in human biology; Emilie Bard, an undeclared sophomore; Danny Bramzon, a junior in history; Cristale Brown, a senior in public policy; Atesa Farshian, a senior in political science; Patricia Ferguson, a senior in Native American studies; Gavin Funabiki, a co-terminal student in sociology; Tin Gazivoda, a co-terminal student in international policy; Stacy Green, a junior in computer science.

Also, David Harris, a doctoral student in electrical engineering; Sonja Ho, a senior in biological sciences; Terry Jue, a senior in human biology; Eileen Lai, a senior in human biology; Candace Lundgren, a senior in mechanical engineering; Jesse Moya, a senior in political science; Kelly Naylor, a junior in civil engineering; Marisol Negrón, a doctoral student in Spanish and Portuguese.

And, Michael Putnam, a senior in statistics; Lisa Rubin, a junior in political science; William Shen, a junior in public policy; Bryan Sun, a senior in English and biological sciences; Sunshine Sykes, a senior in English; Nancy Ko-Chieh Tsai, a doctoral student in mechanical engineering; Jabrina Walker, a senior in economics; Anita Yuen, a senior in economics.
