Stanford leads U.S.A. in Hispanics earning doctorates

Stanford conferred 28 doctorates on Hispanic students last year, the largest number of such degrees awarded by a single institution in the United States, according to a survey published in the Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education. The university also granted 103 master's degrees to Hispanics, ranking it 17th in the nation, and 167 bachelor's degrees, ranking it 72nd nationally.
