Stanford students learn to program robots from home

Every year, students in Experimental Robotics program robots to complete a variety of fun and creative tasks. This year’s class was moved online due to COVID-19 but students used the same programming skillset in simulation to complete their tasks. The simulation features real-time feedback and accurate physics. Professor of Computer Science Oussama Khatib teaches the class with help from graduate students Adrian Piedra and William Chong. This year’s projects include commercial construction, satellite capture and Spikeball.
