Be Power Smart when temperatures rise: On hot summer days, reduce your electricity use weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m. to help lower peak demand on campus.

EV charging at Stanford

Daily and monthly parking permit rates will increase on Sept. 1. Additionally, beginning Sept. 1, vehicles using EV chargers must hold a valid residential or commuter permit or pay the hourly visitor parking rate for the duration of charging. Charging sessions are limited to four hours to ensure equitable access for all EV drivers.

White Plaza utilities project

Projects underway this summer in the White Plaza area are upgrading community gathering spaces and infrastructure. Separate utility work is replacing essential underground systems. White Plaza is closed through July 24, with construction from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, and loud noise expected.

New AI tools for Stanford arrive June 30

All faculty, students, postdocs, and staff can now access three university-approved AI suites – OpenAI ChatGPT Edu, Google Gemini Enterprise, and Anthropic Claude for Education – as part of a campus pilot running through August 2027.

Office for Religious & Spiritual Life

Memorial Church hours

Memorial Church will be closed to visitors through Oct. 31 for sound system renovations. Saturday weddings and Catholic Masses will continue during construction. CIRCLE Multi-Faith Center and Windhover Contemplative Center will remain open as spaces for prayer and meditation.
