Stanford’s farm goes fully electric

The GS Energy Microgrid, a new solar-powered installation at the O’Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm, will meet on-site energy needs while providing students with hands-on experience in agroecology and the clean-energy transition.

This electrification project is part of a fellowship with the Sustainable Stanford Living Lab Program, which brings students, staff, faculty, and partners together to address operational challenges and pioneer solutions.
