Grammy winner Doechii headlines sold-out Frost Fest
At this year’s music festival – run by the student organization Stanford Concert Network – Doechii performed a full set with a signature mix of rap, R&B, and experimental hip-hop to a sold-out crowd.
After Frost Amphitheater underwent a remodel in 2019, Frost Fest was revived with a focus on celebrating music by emerging artists. Zack Fox opened this year’s event with a DJ set that had the audience on their feet and dancing.
Stanford Concert Network works with many campus units, including the Office of Student Engagement and Stanford Live, to bring the event to life. This year, it sold out with more than 8,000 members of the Stanford community attending.
The annual campus music festival was headlined by Grammy Award-winning Doechii.
Doechii performs at the 2025 Frost Fest on April 12.
Doechii won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Performer wishlists for the festival are developed through feedback via social media and students at campus tabling events.

By producing Frost Fest, the Stanford Concert Network team gains practical music industry experience; in the last few years, several members have gone on to work in the entertainment industry after graduation at companies such as Live Nation and Golden Voice. Still to come this season from SCN are events including Day N Mayfield, Pink Party Fest, and Blackfest.
Groundbreaking innovations that begin in Stanford labs flow freely into private industry to improve human well-being, fuel the economy, and strengthen American competitiveness.
