Stanford students celebrate Holi

More than five thousand pounds of food-grade colored powder in a rainbow of hues were tossed joyfully into the air on Saturday and Sunday at Sand Hill Fields in observance of Holi, the spring Hindu Festival of Colors.

More than 5,000 pounds of food-grade colored powder in a rainbow of hues were tossed joyfully into the air on Saturday and Sunday at Sand Hill Fields in observance of Holi, the spring Hindu Festival of Colors. The music-filled event was hosted by the student organization Asha Stanford as a fundraiser, with proceeds going to educational nonprofits in India.
