Dear International Students:

We are excited to have you on campus this fall, and delighted to reopen areas of the Bechtel International Center this month to serve your immigration needs.

Advising appointments

As always, our virtual advising support is available over Zoom. To make an appointment, follow the scheduling instructions on our website.

This month, we began offering in-person student advising services. Walk-in advising is available from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in our Assembly Room on the first floor.

Documentation support

Our building will remain open for drop-off and pick-up of documents from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you are dropping off documents, they can be left in the red lock box in the Bechtel International Center lobby.

Documents can be picked up in the lobby on the next weekday between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You will find them in an envelope in a mail holder by the stairs. They will be sorted by last name.

If you need immigration documents signed for unexpected or emergency travel within the next 24 hours, you can request a signature between 1 and  4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Please ring the bell by the stairs in the Bechtel International Center lobby.

All other needs

Out of an abundance of caution, we will continue to provide all other services and support to you virtually. Feel free to contact us at internationalstudents@stanford.edu.

Again, we are so happy you will be with us on campus this fall. We look forward to supporting you this fall and throughout your academic journey at Stanford.

Sincerely,

Shalini Bhutani

Assistant Vice Provost and Executive Director of Bechtel International Center
