Stanford rolled out the welcome mat for new undergraduates – including 1,698 first-year students and 24 transfers – on Thursday. Move-In Day also marked the beginning of New Student Orientation and featured the 128th Opening Convocation, a ceremony that officially opens the new school year. University Photographer Linda Cicero chronicled the day’s events.
