Holy Week observances on campus

Information on services in Memorial Church and other campus observances for Holy Week, which begins this weekend, is available on the Stanford Office for Religious & Spiritual Life website.

Palm Sunday, on March 24, marks the beginning of Holy Week, which continues through Easter on March 31 for Western Christians. Holy Week for Orthodox Christians falls a week later, with Easter celebrated on May 5.

Many faith and spiritual traditions are represented at Stanford, and ORSL publishes a calendar of religious observances to help campus community members observe holy days that are meaningful to them. Details on the calendar offer guidance both for those seeking accommodations for observances, and for instructors, managers, and other colleagues planning classroom and work schedules.

Office for Religious & Spiritual Life staff are available to provide additional information about observances and the best ways to support others.
