Thanksgiving Break COVID-19 reminders for students

This short message from the Dean of Students Office provides information on testing and travel for all students.

Dear students,

Thanksgiving break begins this week and we know many of you are planning to travel. We are writing to follow up on this message. Let’s keep our campus as safe and healthy as possible!

If you’re planning to travel, don’t take COVID-19 with you! Before you go, avoid indoor, unmasked gatherings and take a COVID test with Color. Continue testing as soon as you return.

Students should test twice for COVID-19 after returning from travel outside California.

Restricted activity means you cannot attend in-person class. There will be no special arrangements in place to accommodate students who cannot attend class because of Thanksgiving travel. For this reason, we discourage international travel during the Thanksgiving Break so that you can continue your studies in week 10.

If you will be on campus, be sure to complete COVID testing this week and Thanksgiving week.
