In the first issue of this newsletter, we asked you to help us rename it. We received nearly 200 ideas – some of them serious, many of them fun. Our panel of judges, which included students and editors, considered all the submissions before choosing the winner.
The newsletter’s new name is:
The name was submitted by Xavier Fields, an undergraduate majoring in public policy, who will receive a $150 gift card to the Stanford Bookstore.
The Roundabout will debut at the beginning of fall quarter and replace @Stanford. It will appear on both undergrad and grad/postdoc editions of the newsletter along with a new masthead design.
Over the summer we will continue to email the grad/postdoc newsletter every week. Since nearly all undergrads are away from campus, we will email the undergrad edition every other week.
