Girls Teaching Girls to Code

Stanford women in computer science and engineering are taking aim at the gender gap in the technology industry. Founded in 2012, Girls Teaching Girls to Code is a student-led organization that introduces Bay Area high school girls to computer science and programming basics. While learning the foundational concepts, participants establish strong relationships with Stanford mentors. High schoolers of all experience levels are encouraged to participate.
