The Stanford Redwood City campus , which officially opened in March 2019, is home to about 2,700 university staff members whose jobs range from development to finance to information technology. The campus is the university’s first significant expansion beyond the main campus, and it evokes the look, feel and warmth of Stanford, as this slideshow suggests.

Arcades link the buildings and landscaped courtyards throughout the Stanford Redwood City campus. The arcades, French limestone exteriors, terra cotta design elements and open, well-lighted interiors were all designed to echo elements of new buildings on the main campus.

This mural of Stanford Stole Bear and Stanford IT Work Bear by San Francisco-based artist and Stanford alumnus fnnch is located on the second floor of Discovery Hall. In the coming months, art tours will be offered for SRWC staff to see the various art work throughout the campus.

The six-story Cardinal Hall is the heart of the Stanford Redwood City campus. It houses the VP for Business Affairs and CFO offices and the office of the VP for University Human Resources.
