Stanford students embrace university traditions, social events
This fall, Stanford students participated in a number of events held on campus including the annual Band Run, a new student orientation tradition, and attended concerts and trivia nights at The Arbor.
Over the fall quarter, Stanford students participated in many university traditions, celebrations, and events. On Thursday and Friday nights, The Arbor hosted trivia and various live musical performances. And during New Student Orientation, student leaders ran through campus, picking up frosh and transfer students for a night of dancing and fun.

The Stanford India Association hosted the Grand Stanford Diwali 2023 event Nov. 10 at White Plaza to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. Students and community members enjoyed free food, a live DJ, and a Bollywood dance party.
