Stanford police searching for missing student

The Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUPD) is searching for a graduate student who has been missing since Saturday morning. According to police, Mengyao "May" Zhou, 23, was last seen leaving her Stanford residence on Saturday, Jan. 20, at about 10:30 a.m. Zhou is described as an Asian female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion.

Zhou, who uses the name May, was driving a silver four-door 2006 Toyota Corolla, with a California license plate number 5VFG430. Anyone having any information regarding the whereabouts of Zhou or her vehicle is urged to contact SUPD at (650) 723-9633 during normal business hours and the dispatch center at (650) 329-2413 after hours.
