ACT to bring new play workshop to campus

San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater and the National Center for New Plays at Stanford University will present script-in-hand workshop productions of three new plays Aug. 11-13 as part of ACT's "First Look" play development program. New works to be performed include Safe Home by Sean Cullen, The Imaginary Invalid by Constance Congdon and Donna Wants by Karen Hartman.

The readings will be presented in Campbell Recital Hall in the Braun Music Center beginning at 8 p.m. Limited seats are available. Tickets for the series can be purchased in advance for $30 at the Stanford Continuing Studies website, http://www.continuingstudies.stanford.edu, and single tickets ($10) will be available at the door.
