Stanford’s Dish was reopened Wednesday, Aug. 23, after it was briefly closed due to a brush fire late Tuesday night. That fire burned an estimated 3 acres in the popular hiking area.
In the aftermath of a shooting and lockdown at the UCLA campus on Wednesday, Stanford Police Chief Laura Wilson and Stanford Emergency Planner Keith Perry spoke to Stanford Report about precautions the campus community can take in such an emergency and preventive efforts on campus.
The Faculty Senate approved a resolution saying that a recent campus climate survey provides valuable information on sexual offenses at Stanford, and that additional data analysis and a review of sexual assault definitions are needed.
