Undergraduates honored with university and departmental awards

In tandem with Commencement weekend, Stanford is honoring the academic achievement of undergraduates with a range of departmental and university awards.

Undergraduates from all class years have earned awards recognizing their outstanding academic achievements and potential in their chosen fields during the 2020 – 21 academic year, including a range of prestigious national awards.

A full listing of this year’s national, university and departmental award winners can be viewed on VPUE’s Undergrad site.

National award winners includes recipients of Goldwater, Marshall, Rhodes, Truman and Udall scholarships, as well as ten Fulbright Grant awardees.

The University’s Golden, Firestone, and Kennedy Thesis Awards, which recognize the top honors theses written each year, will be awarded later this summer and announced on Stanford Today.

The published awards listings continue to be populated daily as VPUE receives notifications from Stanford academic departments, as well as administrative offices that facilitate or report on university and national awards.
