Should you cancel your monthly parking permit given the upcoming holidays?

Given the upcoming holidays, please consider whether monthly or daily permits make the most sense for you. If you want to switch from monthly to daily permits, please note that you must cancel your monthly permit by the last day of the month preceding the month you want the payments to stop (for example, cancel your permit by Nov. 30 to avoid a December charge).

If you do not cancel by Nov. 30, you will continue to be charged for December. There are no refunds for parking permits purchased.

Please consider whether a monthly or daily permit makes the most sense for you, especially given the upcoming holidays.

  • If you want to switch to daily permits, please return your monthly permit to stop any automated payments you have set up with Stanford Transportation.
    • Monthly parking permits that are purchased using pre-tax payroll deduction must be canceled by the last business day of the month to avoid future deductions.
    • Monthly parking permits purchased with a credit card are charged for a minimum of one month at the time of purchase. Future charges are canceled upon the return of the permit.
  • Please be aware that permit charges are non-refundable.
