New Stanford eCorner podcast series
A weekly series of podcasts aimed at members of the Stanford community, along with the growing ranks of aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs around the world, was launched earlier this month by Stanford eCorner and the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP). A new podcast airs every Wednesday.
Hosted by TINA SEELIG, professor of the practice in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, the series aims to provide listeners with a taste of what STVP explores in courses on innovation and entrepreneurship.
In upcoming episodes, the podcast will feature members of the Silicon Valley community who are also alumni of STVP’s Mayfield Fellows Program, a work/study program for Stanford undergraduates and coterminal degree students.
Guests will include TRACY CHOU, a software engineer who previously worked at Pinterest and Quora, and who is a leading advocate for advancing diversity in technology and entrepreneurship, and CHI-HUA CHIEN, co-founder of Goodwater Capital, who will discuss how to approach the challenging question of when and how to take on venture capital for a startup.
