modelHomeLgeBkImagetrbmRcBj51L-Guttentag6270BILL GUTTENTAG, Oscar-winning filmmaker and a lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, will read from his debut novel, Boulevard, at the Stanford Bookstore Thursday, March 4, at 6 p.m. The novel is described as a look at the seedier side of Hollywood. Former Stegner Fellow ERIC PUCHNER will be in the Bay Area this week reading from his new novel, Model Home. His readings are scheduled for Tuesday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. at The Booksmith, 1644 Haight St. in San Francisco, and on Wednesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Kepler’s, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.  RACHEL MANBER, a faculty member in psychiatry and behavioral sciences, is co-author of a new book, Quiet Your Mind and Get to Sleep: Solutions to Insomnia for Those with Depression, Anxiety, or Chronic Pain. Manber and her co-author, Colleen Carney, offer step-by-step solutions to help readers evaluate insomnia.
