Pandemic-delayed Commencement 2020 scheduled
In an email on Monday, President Marc Tessier-Lavigne told Stanford’s 2020 graduates that their long-awaited in-person Commencement has been scheduled for Saturday, June 11, 2022.
Stanford’s 2020 graduates, who embarked from the university with a virtual celebration more than a year ago, now have a date to return to campus for their long-awaited in-person Commencement: Saturday, June 11, 2022. In an email on Monday, President Marc Tessier-Lavigne told graduates to expect additional updates on financial support for those with need, lodging options and speakers, and asked them to assist planners by completing a short form to begin gauging attendance.
