Continuing studies courses offered in fall quarter

The Continuing Studies Program now offers a tuition discount up to $200 per quarter for faculty and staff who enroll in CSP courses.

Depending on the length of the courses, which range from one-day workshops and seminars to five- and 10-week classes, the CSP discount is between 70 and 100 percent off the regular tuition price of $145 or $155 per unit. The discount is independent of STAP funds are used for job-related courses and cannot be applied to CSP courses.

In addition to the employee discount, spouses or domestic partners of Stanford students and employees receive a 20 percent tuition discount.

Registration now is under way for more than 50 fall quarter CSP courses, which will focus on Byzantine art and archaeology, estate planning, spies, opera and artificial intelligence, among dozens of other topics. Travel courses will take students to St. Petersburg, Russia, Tuscany, the British Virgin Islands, Oxford and Santa Fe.
