Green Library Collection to move to the Stanford Auxiliary Library

STANFORD -- To provide shelving space for the growing Green Library stack collection, lesser-used books and journals in the fields of language and literature classed in Dewey 800-899 will be moved to the Stanford Auxiliary Library beginning August 8. Materials to be relocated to SAL from this collection were selected by language and literature faculty in conjunction with library curators. Socrates location records will be updated by the conclusion of this transfer.

Patrons can borrow SAL materials at the facility, or may request that they be delivered to the Green Library Loan Desk by using the Request SAL function in Socrates, by sending an email request to cn.sal@forsythe, or by completing a page request form at the Green Loan Desk. Materials paged from SAL are typically available within one working day. Questions about location of specific materials should be directed to staff at the Loan Desk.
