Galvez Street to be closed for resurfacing

STANFORD -- Galvez Street between El Camino Real and Campus Drive East is scheduled to be closed Saturday, Nov. 6, for resurfacing.

Traffic entering and leaving the campus will be detoured to Palm Drive and Serra Street. Access to Nelson Road from Galvez Street also will be closed.

Alternate access to the athletics area will be provided by opening Sam McDonald Way at El Camino Real and Nelson Road (signage for this is included in the detour).

This project was initially scheduled to be done on Saturday, Oct. 16, but the work was postponed by rain.
