Volunteers to paint Costano Elementary School April 3

STANFORD -- Parents, community members and volunteers from several local organizations are scheduled to take part in the Costano Elementary School Painting Project, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, April 3.

Costano has teamed up with local corporations to give the school a fresh coat of paint. Cisco Systems, Burdick Painting, and the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America are donating paint and supplies.

Dunn Edwards, Cisco employees and volunteers from the Costano PTA and Stanford University will donate their time and energy. Stanford groups participating include the Costano-Stanford Partnership and the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, both based at the Haas Center for Public Service.
