Zak, Lehman join Business School staff

STANFORD - Two new staff members joined the Stanford University Graduate School of Business School this year. They are Michele Zak, lecturer and director of the Management Communications Program, and Melinda Lehman, development officer.

Zak, who earned her doctorate in English at Ohio State University, was most recently a faculty member at the John F. Kennedy University School of Management in Walnut Creek, Calif. She has been chief executive of private and non-profit organizations, a university administrator and a management consultant. Zak was chief of the Office of Women's Affairs for the state of Ohio and coordinator of the women's studies certificate program at Kent State University in Ohio.

Lehman is a Stanford alumna of the class of 1979. She received her MBA from the Graduate School of Business in 1986. Lehman's professional background is in marketing and public relations. She was director of Gibson Public Relations in Singapore and, most recently, was an assistant brand manager of the Clorox Company.
