Stanford presidential search open meetings scheduled Members of the Presidential Search Committee have scheduled open meetings at which members of the community can express their views on selecting a successor to President Donald Kennedy. A meeting for staff will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, in the Tresidder Union Oak Lounge. A meeting for faculty is scheduled for 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 203 of Building 200, History. There will be no presentations by the search committee at either meeting. The gatherings are intended as an opportunity for members of the Stanford community to give their opinions, suggestions and recommendations. All staff are encouraged to participate, and subject to supervisory approval, may be released from work to attend the meeting without suffering loss of pay. Separate meetings for Stanford students will be held during the month of January in four campus locations. The times and dates will be announced in the main student newspaper, the Stanford Daily.
