Third 'Town Meeting' set for Nov. 1 Staff and faculty will have another opportunity to ask questions of university administrators about Stanford's budget reduction effort at the third in a series of "Town Meetings" scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at Kresge Auditorium. President Donald Kennedy will give opening remarks. He will then answer questions from the audience, along with Barbara Butterfield, vice president for human resources; Peter Van Etten, chief financial officer; Jim Gibbons, dean of the School of Engineering; and a representative from the Senate Committee on Education and Scholarship at Stanford (SC-EES). Robert Gregg, dean of the Chapel, will moderate.
