BLOOD DONORS TO GET FREE TICKETS TO

STANFORD-CORNELL GAME

Two tickets to the Stanford-Cornell football game on Oct. 12 will be given to anyone who donates blood before then at the Stanford Blood Bank, 800 Welch Road.

The free tickets are being made available for the second time this year by the blood bank and the Stanford Athletic Department. Donors also received tickets to the season opening game with Washington on Sept. 7.

"We're pleased to be able to show our appreciation to our donors through the free tickets," said Rhoda Burns, assistant administrator of the blood bank. "We're very grateful to the athletic department for making them available."

Burns said anyone who donates blood will be given a voucher good for two tickets to the Cornell game. She asked that donors call 723-7831 to make an appointment.
