Streets, parking lots to be closed during Finale Weekend Employees who usually park in lots near the Serra Complex and Athletics will need to find alternatives during the Centennial Finale Weekend period. Outside that quadrant of campus, there will be no parking lot closures or restrictions beyond the current permit requirements. However, the overall number of automobiles descending on campus may increase significantly during the period from Saturday, Sept. 28, through Tuesday, Oct. 1. Following is a list of street and parking lot closures: STREETS

  • Palm Drive and adjoining areas will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Campus Drive between Serra Street and Galvez Street will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 28.
  • Escondido Road, from Campus Drive to Stern Hall, will be closed from midnight Friday, Sept. 27, until Sunday morning, Sept. 29.

  • Maples Pavilion lot will be closed through Friday, Oct. 4.
  • In the Serra Lot, most "C" parking will be closed through Thursday, Oct. 3. Other "C" areas will be closed Sept. 28- 30. Handicapped parking, meters and most of the "A" parking in the Serra lot will not be affected.
  • The Burnham Pavilion parking will be reserved for the press from Sunday, Sept. 29, through Tuesday, Oct. 1.
  • The Track House lot will be reserved for alumni from Friday, Sept. 27, through Tuesday, Oct. 1.
