Farm workers president Chavez to speak at Stanford

STANFORD -- United Farm Workers President Cesar Chavez will discuss the labor union and its historic grape boycott movement at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in Kresge Auditorium.

The free public talk will include a screening of the film, "The Wrath of Grapes," and a question and answer period. While on campus, Chavez also will visit the University's Chicano theme house, Casa Zapata.

Chavez's talk is presented by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan (MEChA). For more information, contact El Centro Chicano at Stanford, (415) 723-2089.
