Thomas McBride, former Law School associate dean, dies at 74

Thomas F. McBride, a former Law School associate dean from 1982 to 1989, and director of environmental health and safety from 1989 to 1992, died of a cerebral hemorrhage in Portland, Ore., on Oct. 31. He was 74. An obituary will be published in Stanford Report Nov. 12.

Memorial services for McBride will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1624 N.E. Hancock St., Portland, Ore.; and on Dec. 6 at the Saugatuck Congregational Church in Westport, Conn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in McBride's memory be made to the Dean's Fund at Portland State University, Friends of the Children or the Mercy Corps.
