Prospective freshmen—"ProFros," according to Stanford's unique culture of abbreviation—and their parents came to campus April 24 for three days of seminars, meetings, tours and dining designed to give them a closer look at the university and student life. On Thursday, they were greeted in White Plaza by students operating booths for various activities and organizations. ProFros have until May 1 to decide whether they want to enroll at Stanford.
