Video: 9/11 Report Cites Four Major Failures, Says Executive Director
Philip Zelikow said there were four major government failures leading up no security, and the disaster of September 11 2001. At Kresge Auditorium, the executive director of the 9/11 commission told listeners at a Stanford Institute for International Studies seminar Oct. 20th the government, and the American people, have to consider the post 9/11 crisis one that will require permanent long-term attention. The government is not yet "in the 21st Century," adding that security should have been the watchword. Without security, he said, there would be no liberty in the future.
