|Classes offered in animation, web design, desktop
Beginning in July, Academic Computing's Academy for New Media will offer a series of weeklong workshops in 3-D animation, desktop movies, web design and video compression. Classes will be taught by Stanford staff and industry professionals and will use a hands-on, project-based curriculum. Classes are open to the general public, with campus housing available for out-of-town students.
Tuition for the classes is $1,195 for video compression and $695 for other courses. Stanford staff can register online through the PRISM system, where the courses are listed under ITS.940, ITS.941, ITS.942 and ITS.943. STAP funds may apply.
