|Student nominations for Deans' Award for Academic
Achievement now being accepted
Nominations of undergraduate students for the 2000-01 Deans' Award for Academic Achievement will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 23. The annual awards recognize five to 10 students for extraordinary academic achievement, which can include exceptional work in the classroom or in independent research, a presentation for a regional or national audience, or superior performance in the creative arts.
Award winners will receive a specially selected book and citation at a Spring Quarter ceremony. Their portraits and citations will be displayed in Sweet Hall and on the Undergraduate Research Opportunities website.
