Krehbiel honored by Sloan students for management course

Keith Krehbiel, the Edward B. Rust Professor of Political Science in the School of Business, was honored with the 2000 Teaching Excellence Award presented by the Class of 2000 during the graduation celebration for the Stanford Business School's Sloan program, a full-time, 10-month academic program leading to a master of science in management degree. Krehbiel, who taught the Sloan course "Management in Non-Market Environments," was cited for "demonstrating a passion for his subject matter and thereby motivating the Sloan Fellows." In making the presentation, graduate Michele Purton noted Krehbiel's "ability to integrate and interrelate his subject matter with the other academic disciplines and with the Sloans' backgrounds, strengthening our overall learning experience."
