Ethicist to discuss clinical research on mentally ill
"CLINICAL RESEARCH AND THE Mentally Ill: Proposals for New Regulatory Guidelines from the National Bioethics Advisory Commission" is an ethics seminar set for noon Thursday, May 14, in room M104.
Speaking will be R. Alta Charo, a fellow in Stanford's Program in Genomics, Ethics and Society. Charo is a member of the National Bioethics Advisory Commission and associate professor of law and medical ethics at the University of Wisconsin.
The seminar, free and open to the
public, is part of a monthly series sponsored by the Stanford
